Kids Christmas Stocking Stuffer Swap

Yes, it IS too early to be thinking about Christmas.  Unless you are crafting and then it is never too early.

An online board I am on is having a Kids Stocking Stuffer swap.  You make 5 identical items, send them to the coordinator, and they send you back 5 different items made by other Mom's.  I happen to be the coordinator, so while I get to save on shipping, I get the task of collecting the items, separating them amongst the participants and shipping them back.

For the girls, I made matching dolly-and-me infinity scarves.  They turned out really cute, but reminded me why knits are such a pain to work with .  The fabric is very forgiving, but also impossible to get it to lie straight!

For the boys, I made ninja stress balls.  I saw these on Pinterest and they crack me up.  They are just balloons stuffed with flour.  As long as the boys don't chuck them at each other, these should be fun to play with.

I'm also making a set of Homemade Slime Kits.  Not very exciting to look at - just a bottle of glue and a baggie of liquid starch.  I tried the recipe out on Nora last night to make sure it works.  Many squeals of "eeew gross" and "this is so cool!".  I'd say it's a hit.
