6 in one day

Today was gorgeous out, so Mohamed and I went on several long walks and collected geocaches.

0-Are You Young Enough?

I have driven by this duck pond many times, but this is the first time I've ever walked around it.  Very nice little spot.

Count Down to Christmas - December 16

I've gotten a few others in this series.  This was tucked up in a crag of the tree.

Downey Bridge

My 90th cache find!

This one I found the container, but it was empty.  Looks like some weed-whacking nearby dislodged and lost the contents.

What Kind of Dog is That?

This one was a puzzle cache. I had to look up a bunch of dog breeds and use the answers to get the puzzle coordinates.  I chose it as it looked on the way to school.  Turns out the final was 5 miles across town!

Chief Seattle (Green River) Cache to Eagle #10

No way I was going to drive that far and only get 1 cache.  This was on the other side of the park hiding under a bridge with the Hint of "Troll".  Thought that was a cute hint.

7th Day of Rest Dragon's Nest

The last one I had time for.  Hiding in a fake sprinkler head near a church.

Count Down to Christmas - December 12

This is my 4th cache in this series.  Will be fun to try and find them all.

This decent size container was hiding in the crook of the tree.  So well hidden, you'd never see it if you weren't looking for it.  I was surprised something so large would fit.

Another one down the street a ways.

Count Down to Christmas - December 1

We had to drive back into town in the afternoon, so I bribed the kids with McDonalds ice cream to let me grab another cache on the way home.  (I paid dearly for that bribe as they cackled like hyenas for the next 20 minutes.)

This was a little park-n-grab hidden in a guardrail.

Count Down to Christmas - December 8

I didn't want to leave off our caching for the day on a sour note, and there was a playground nearby, so we set off to Fort Dent Park.  I came here many, many times years ago to watch Erica play softball.

While the kids played, I wandered about and grabbed 3 different caches.

Nice little cache hiding under a picnic table.
